Tony Stark knows what's up.
And Iron Man 3 knows to clear the way for the Iron Lady. The Robert Downey Jr. movie was scheduled to premiere Wednesday in London, but since that's the same day as former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher's funeral, Disney has pushed it to the next day.
A Disney spokesperson told Deadline, "London will basically be in traffic chaos and it would have been difficult logistically." Thatcher, who was the first and only female so far to hold Britain's highest political position, passed away Monday at age 87.
That said, on Thursday, both Downey and Gwyneth Paltrow are expected to attend the Iron Man 3 premiere in London's Leicester Square. The action thriller hits theaters in the U.S. on May 3.
