Bethenny Frankel's business ventures may be going well, but her personal life is another story.

While cohosting morning gabfest, Good Day New York on New York City's local Fox affiliate on Thursday, the reality star and Skinnygirl mogul opened up about the how she's been feeling since filing for divorce from hubby Jason Hoppy.

"It's rough," Frankel said when the issue of her single status came up. "I have to say, divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life."

When asked whether the split from the businessman was acrimonious, the 42-year-old self-described "vintage" Housewife added, "It's just a brutal unnatural situation and you sort of end up in a situation you thought you'd never be in."

If there's one consolation to the heartache, Bethenny said the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Bryn, is doing "amazing," and "brings out the best" in her.

Frankel and Hoppy announced their separation in January after two years together. And while Bethenny's been spotted out platonically with her handsome business partner, Matt Hesse, Jason was snapped recently still wearing his wedding ring.
