Russell Brand may be one of the latest celebrity swatting victims, but the funnyman does seem to have a sense of humor about it.

"If all swatting attacks are this unnoticeable I'm ready for war, because I didn't even know it happened," the British comedian told Ryan Seacrest while calling in to his KIIS-FM radio show on Wednesday. "I still don't know what a swatting attack is!"

In his defense, though, Brand said he wasn't even home when the LAPD received a call earlier this week about a man with a gun at an area residence. Officers responded and checked the scene, only find that there was no man with a gun and no one was in danger.

Brand insisted he wasn't upset by the prank and even admitted, "I think if I were a teenager, I'd definitely do it."

But all joking aside, the Get Him to the Greek star realizes all these swatting situations are serious.

"What would be bad would be if the police were attending a swatting and then an actual crime happened and it took the police too long to get there because they were doing a swatting," he said before quickly returning to form and adding, "But other than that, it does sound like a laugh."
