When it comes to the fine print about her floozy antics, guess Amanda Bynes needed to see it to believe it.

The beleaguered actress has been grabbing her fair share of headlines these days, and on Monday, she was able to eyeball the evidence herself. Exhibit A: The 27-year-old starlet was seen leafing through a tabloid story about her while at a drugstore in New York City.

The Easy A actress, her long blond hair (or maybe wig) unkempt as it flowed down her shoulders, seemed to be trying to go incognito in shades as she picked up a copy of In Touch magazine, whose headline blared "What happened to this child star?"

It was quite the ironic turn of events: Just last week, Bynes was snapped taking a photo of a paparazzo...while a man behind her held up the same tabloid headline.

Perhaps this time the star decided she need to turn over a new (page) leaf herself.

During a spate of increasingly odd behavior, Bynes—who's still in a legal rut over a litany of driving boo-boos last year—has gone on the offensive over the media's coverage of her, and over incessant public scrutiny: Late last month she threatened to sue a string of press outlets over a puddle of bad ink.

And just this week she fired off a Twitter rant to refute claims that she was kicked out of a gymnastics class in downtown Manhattan after purportedly exhibiting bizarre behavior while wearing fishnets and a wig.

Hmmm...could it just be because she failed to stick the landing?
