Will Jane Got a Gun ever find it's leading man?

Bradley Cooper has just replaced Jude Law in the upcoming Western film that's already previously lost its original director, Lynne Ramsey, over creative issues, THR reports.

Cooper is set to play the flick's villain opposite Natalie Portman, who will star as a "woman asks her ex-lover for help in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang out to kill him," according to the movie's IMDb page.

Law dropped out after Ramsey last month. Joel Edgerton will play the ex-lover.

The troubled film, which will now be directed by Gavin O'Connor, was supposed to begin filming several weeks ago before Ramsey departed.

A newly permed Cooper is currently filming David O. Russell's untitled next film with his Silver Linings Playbook costar Jennifer Lawrence in Boston.
