Jenna Jameson Arrested for Battery During Pre-Birthday Party

Adult star didn't even get to celebrate her big bash after getting taken to jail for allegedly striking someone at the shindig

It's Jenna Jameson's party and she'll cry if she wants to. But she can't allegedly hit someone without some legal repercussions.

The Newport Beach Police Department confirms to E! News that the adult film star was arrested last night for misdemeanor battery.

According to authorities, Jameson got into a physical altercation with someone she knew while pre-partying at around 7:50 p.m., before heading out for her big birthday bash.

The victim claims to have been struck by Jameson and subsequent placed her under citizens arrest. Police then transported the XXX star to jail, where she was booked and released on her own recognizance.

According to her Twitter, Jameson was expected to kick-off celebrating her 39th birthday at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, Calif., Saturday night. Definitely not the happiest of birthdays.
