Last night, American Idol season-four winner Carrie Underwood (ever heard of her?), returned to the stage to perform her new single "See You Again" from her hit album Blown Away. She rocked it of course, and looked fabulous doing it.

After the show, we caught up with the country star to talk about coming back to Idol, turning 30 and if kids are in the near future with her hubby, hockey star Mike Fisher.

"That time in my life was such a whirlwind and so much has happened since then," she tells E! News' Will Marfuggi. "In a way, it was kind of like a dream."

Her career has certainly been a dream, with hit singles, Grammys and roles on shows like How I Met Your Mother. And since Underwood is about to hit the milestone age of 30, she's happy to report she's right where she wants to be.

"My twenties were so much about establishing," she says. "You know, growing up, and establishing myself in the music business. And I got married, so now it's really just kind of time to enjoy it."

Speaking of her happy marriage, we had to ask: Are babies coming soon?

"I don't know. It comes around every once in a while when a friend gets pregnant, we kind of revisit it," she tells us. "But we'll see, I don't think there will ever be a great time to have kids, so we might just have to go for it at some point."
