Nicole Kidman in Anchorman Sequel: Star Shoots Cameo for Will Ferrell Flick

Actress was reportedly spotted on set in Atlanta

Nicole Kidman is bringing the funny.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kidman shot a cameo for the highly-anticipated sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues in Atlanta, adding yet another name to it's already star-studded cast (which won't include Meryl Streep. Shucks).

So will the actress be a love interest? A possible rival anchorwoman? Baxter's Spanish teacher?

Unfortunately, no details as to what role Kidman will play were revealed (although that last possibility would be interesting).

The star will join original castmembers Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, and new additions Greg Kinnear, Harrison Ford and Kristen Wiig.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues hits theaters Dec. 20.
