Porsha Stewart is getting more support from her Real Housewives of Atlanta costars as she weathers her divorce from ex Kordell Stewart.
"I'm being her strength right now," NeNe Leakes told E! News exclusively at last night's Bravo Upfront in NYC.
"She's really giving me the sisterhood that I need and encouragement," agreed Stewart. "We have a similar past. If it wasn't for her calling me all day and like, making sure I'm good. She's my sister and I love her."
Stewart says she was surprised when her former husband filed divorce papers last month. "Just the entire situation, of course it caught me off guard," she said. "It's not easy. It's something that I'm struggling with right now."
Stewart has recently stopped watching this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta to avoid seeing her rocky romance on the small screen.
"I watched my divorce play out on television so I just know how hard it is," Leakes dished. "So I just want Porsha to know she has support because this is very hard."
"I wish Kordall the best, I really do," Stewart admitted. "I love him and it's just a very unfortunate situation for our family. I can do nothing at this point but wish him the best, and hopefully he's doing the same for me."
