Ashley Tisdale is opening up on how she stays in stellar shape!
But surprisingly, the Scary Movie 5 star doesn't always feel like she has a bangin' body.
"I always feel like I could look better," Tisdale confessed to E! News exclusively. "I'm, like, the worst."
"I just love carbs," she said. "And when I'm on vacation I definitely allow myself carbs, so it's always funny when people are like, ‘Oh my gosh, you look great in your bikini.' I'm like, ‘If you only knew what I had for breakfast!'"
As for her favorite breakfast food, Tisdale said, "I love pancakes, and I actually do love healthy stuff. Like I love gluten-free or whole-wheat pancakes. Breakfast is my favorite meal."
So how does she fight putting on pounds?
"I work out with [trainer] Harley Pasternak and he's pretty amazing," the 27-year-old said. "He's changed my diet and even my workouts. For years I was just like running and doing crazy stuff. And I was told circuit training is, like, you've got to keep up with your heart rate and all this stuff. He was like, ‘It's funny, because it makes you more hungry,' which is so true.
"He wants you to work out, but not like overeat because you're like straining yourself and stuff. I just do more like lightweight training. It's a lot easier."
