Clark Gable's son has gone with the wind gone to the police station.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed to E! News that the Hollywood legend's 52-year-old son, John Clark Gable, was arrested on suspicion of DUI today.

The Malibu/Lost Hills Station watch sergeant told us, "At 2:54 p.m., we received a call of a possible hit-and-run in the city of Malibu," adding that Gable's car allegedly rear-ended another car on Pacific Coast Highway and fled the scene, and that several calls claimed his vehicle was traveling at high speeds.

But it wasn't just one car that got hit.

"The suspect's vehicle collided into six parked vehicles at 21322 Pacific Coast Highway," the watch sergeant said. Deputies conducted a field sobriety test on Gable, after which he was arrested, the sergeant said.

Gable is still in custody.
