Vanessa Hudgens' fans have a lot to honk about today, as the Spring Breakers star broke her Twitter silence and finally posted her first tweet—almost two years after she first set up her Twitter account.
And the star knew how to properly rev up her arrival.
"BEEP BEEP... who got the keys to my TWEET? Vroooom! ;)))" she wrote on Monday.
And nope, fans: That's not an April Fools' Day joke, as the account has been properly verified by the Twitter Powers That Be.

Shortly after, she followed that up with: "That's right love bugs, I've finally joined twitter AND tumblr. Thanks for all the lovin'! You guys are seriously the best."
Indeed, Hudgens simultaneously debuted her new Tumblr page, where she posted a clip of her new track "$$$ex," which was inspired by Spring Breakers.
It's been a major drought for fans of the High School Musical alum, who, in the two years that her Twitter account has remained inactive, has still managed to rack up an impressive 840,000 followers.
Expect that number to skyrocket as the starlet gets into the Twitter swing of things.
