InstagramLooks like Lauren Conrad has jumped on the colored-hair trend—accidentally, anyway.
Joining the bright-haired ranks of Hayden Panettiere and Dakota Fanning, who debuted rainbow 'dos earlier this month, the fashion designer is rocking a pop of pink in her normally blond tresses.
Her eye-catching new look comes courtesy of the Holi Festival in India, a Hindu religious festival celebrated by tossing colored powder on observers. The 27-year-old certainly got her share of the powder, receiving a headful of punchy pink coloring on her head.
But she certainly didn't seem to mind, enthusiastically Instagramming a picture of her color-covered head with the celebratory message, "Happy Holi!"
It wasn't until she tried to wash the powder out later, that she realized her new look wasn't going anywhere.
"So apparently it doesn't wash out… Looks like I'm sporting pink locks for the rest of this trip," she wrote alongside a pic of her freshly washed hair.
Leave it to Conrad to make an accidental dye job look absolutely gorgeous. Still, we're pretty sure she'll drop the darling dip-dye as soon as she's back Stateside!
