Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart is thanking fans for their support in the wake of her divorce.
Yesterday, E! News confirmed the Bravo star's husband Kordell Stewart filed for divorce from his wife of nearly two years, citing the pair's "irretrievably broken" marriage as the reason for the dissolution of their union.
Although neither Porsha nor Kordell have specifically commented on the divorce filing, the 31-year-old reality star has taken to Twitter to post motivational messages and share her appreciate for the social media support.
"Thank you for your Prayers," she captioned an inspirational Instagram, which says to "seek God in difficult moments."
In addition to Porsha's cryptic comments on her micro-blogging page, her rep offered insight into the couple's split, insisting the reality star was blindsided by her husband and only learned of the divorce filing through the media:
"Mrs. Stewart is disappointed about her husband's recent filing for divorce," Porsha's rep tells E! News. "Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her. Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media. Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith."
And she's clearly finding strength through her faith, retweeting a post from a popular Texas pastor today.
"Your problems may be big, but our God is much bigger. Your obstacles may be high, but we serve the Most High God," wrote Joel Osteen.
Finally, the Bravo beauty also posted a YouTube link to Gospel artist Marvin Saap's song "Never Would've Made It," captioning the clip "God is in control. Faith."
Best of luck during this difficult time, Porsha.
We wish you all the best.
