Everyone needs a wardrobe update now and again, even Minnie Mouse!

Disney's darling character recently traded in her red-and-white polka dot frock and floppy bow for a more sophisticated designer look, thanks to Lanvin's own Alber Elbaz.

Minnie debuted her chic update at a whimsical runway show at Disneyland Paris, strutting down the catwalk in an embellished custom-made royal blue long-sleeved dress accessorized with (what else?) a glittering red tiara.

So fancy!

The stylish rodent appeared confident and coy in her new designer duds, and we're betting it was a refreshing change to get out of her traditional garb, at least for a little bit.

And in case you're curious, Minnie will keep her classic spotted ensemble for appearances, while the Lanvin look will serve as special occasion attire.

What do you think of Minnie Mouse's new look?
