Ryan Seacrest's vision has become a reality in the O.C.

The TV and radio star was joined by pals such as Miley Cyrus and Taylor Lautner today in SoCal to celebrate the opening of a media center for the kids at Children's Hospital of Orange County.

"The answer is actually no, I am single," Lautner informed a darling young fan who asked during the in-house studio's inaugural broadcast if the Twilight star was single.

Making the patients happy, what could be better than that?!

"A couple of years ago we sat down and started talking about creating a foundation and what the mission would be, and it was born out of some of the detailed stories I was told by patients and parents from here," Seacrest told the assembled crowd, explaining how his initiative got under way.

The kids "were looking for things to do and looking for an escape and looking to tap into their creativity. So we decided to build these media centers in different hospitals across the country, starting in my hometown of Atlanta, and now our first one here in Southern California at CHOC."

The Wanted performed at the grand opening, and Victoria Justice and Zendaya, with her Dancing With the Stars partner Val Chmerkovksiy, also made the scene.
