Britney Spears was out shopping with new boyfriend David Lucado today near her home in Thousand Oaks, Calif.—and, while the tanning fans certainly haven't been attempting to hide their affinity for each other, Friday marked the first time that they engaged in any PDA.
Which, in this case, was some cozy hand-holding, big smiles on both of their faces. According to eyewitnesses, the couple visited Victoria's Secret and Foreign Exchange and seemed to be "in a great mood, very happy together."
Sources tell E! News that Lucado is a "really good guy," noting that he's very attentive toward her and loves spending time with her boys, Sean and Jaden.
"She's really happy at the moment," one insider says. Britney's "ready to start a new chapter."
Meanwhile, Spears is off to Las Vegas this weekend, but reports that she's going house-hunting as she closes in on a performance residency with one of the major hotels are jumping the gun.
"All the reports out there are wildly exaggerated," a source says. "She is going to be attending Cirque du Soleil's One Night for One Drop" gala, benefiting efforts to make clean water more accessible for people around the world.
Spears' Vegas deal remains in the works.
