Bet you'd like to be Jake Davidson right now.
The 17-year-old's gutsy move to create a video asking Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton to be his date for his senior prom has definitely worked in his favor.
Not only has Upton already responded to his proposal by tweeting, "you can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule ;)" and surprised Davidson with a phoner during his Today interview, but she can't stop gushing about the invite.
"It's the cutest video I've ever seen. So creative. I loved it," Upton exclusively told E! News' Alicia Quarles.
"I didn't get to see his face because I was on the phone," she mentioned about her Today call-in, and added, "I'm happy. I was so touched when I saw [the video]. And, you know, life gets so busy and to have just a good laugh and see someone who's just nice and wants to go to prom with me."
Davidson continues to promise Upton will have the time of her life should she be free to accompany him to his prom.
"If she has time I'll make it worth her while. Throw out the red carpet, anything she wants," he said, which includes renting a "pimped-out old Rolls-Royce," and dinner at Nobu.
