We hope the queen of sequins is honored by the Trance star's homage

You can't wear a red, floor-length sequin gown and not expect a Liza Minnelli comparison.

We only hope that Rosario Dawson really was channeling the Broadway babe herself with this sparkly style. This Jenny Packham gown does feature a blousy top like the ones commonly worn by our favorite Fosse-lover and the Trance star is wearing her hair up in a side bob, perhaps to match the short cut of the famous Cabaret singer?

Either way, the gown is gorgeous. But if Rosario happened to, say, get tipsy and slosh around it later that night, it's also a perfect homage.
