Claiming that supporters of his daughter Sam's former place of learning, the private Viewpoint School, are now targeting his family in response to his initial complaint about Sam getting mistreated there, the Anger Management star fired off a new free-verse missive today explaining "why people suck."
He tweeted, in the form of a poem:
"a group of mindless Viewpoint supporting doosh-bagz, have targeted D and the girls with 'bullying tactics' as a response to my call to arms. so, bullying is the answer? as a response to bullying? leave them alone. this is not a threat but a promise, that justice will be served. I'm not hiding. you are. show yourselves you spineless cowards. oh that's right; cockroaches scatter in the light..
"FYI - we have your faces on camera," he continued. "police are involved. hash tag 'oops' c hash tag intimidating children?"
The New Yorker should be calling any minute, but, in the meantime, it would appear that Sheen is accusing school officials and, perhaps, parents of children still enrolled at Viewpoint, of being nasty to ex-wife Denise Richards and both of their daughters, Sam and Lola.
There's been no word yet from Sheen's camp as to what exactly set off his latest rant, which comes three days after he encouraged his fans to pepper Viewpoint with rotten eggs, rolls of toilet paper or "dog s--t."
Viewpoint, meanwhile, said in a statement in response to Sheen's complaints that, when the school first became aware of an incident involving Sam last year, administrators "addressed the issue appropriately at that time. Our School takes accusations of bullying very seriously. For over 50 years, Viewpoint School has provided a safe and nurturing environment for our students to thrive, and we will continue to do so."
"Like all responsible schools across our nation, we are concerned when any individual uses a social media forum to encourage actions that may risk the safety and security of any school," the school also said.
Viewpoint posted that statement on its Facebook page last week and the comments left beneath it were mixed, with many agreeing that the school should have done more if Sam was bullied, but that Sheen was in the wrong by taking to Twitter to lash out.
"Charlie Sheen is a bully," wrote Winslow Allen. "Charlie Sheen, allegedly upset by an 8-year-old girl's bullying behavior, is now bullying an entire school full of children & faculty who have nothing to do with his daughter's issue."
"I do not understand why it took a whole year for anything to be said," wrote Katie Kruyer Young. "As a former kid who was bullied, every school is the same and every bully's family is the same. The schools choose to put up with it and do nothing, and of course the bully can do no wrong in the eyes of their family. Something has to be done. As far as Viewpoint goes, if they actually had a zero tolerance for bullying, Sam would still be there and none of this would have come to light. But parents need not to go to the media and telling people to do bad things to the school. That is just as bad as the bully."
Wrote Mallory Lewis: "Viewpoint rocks. I know my child is safe I know Viewpoint doesn't allow bullys [sic] and I know Charlie Sheen is a loser."
"For those of you bashing on viewpoint, I get it," wrote Megan Smalls, who identified herself as a satisfied Viewpoint alum. "Bullying is a huge issue, but taking another's bullies [sic] side (Charlie Sheen's) is just adding fuel to the fire. If you all want to stop bullying look at yourself and see what you can do to change it. Channel your energy into something great! Don't dwell on the accusations of others."
