Is Britney Spears already returning to her signature blond roots?
The pop star and her new beau David Lucado were snapped hitting a tanning salon together in Thousand Oaks yesterday, and we can't help but notice the queen bee of pop has lightened up her locks.
Brit-Brit debuted her new brown ‘do at Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscar viewing party in February where she looked stunning with face-framing layers and long brunette locks. The singer's colorist Brittany Hunter of Mark Slicker Salon later revealed exclusive details to E! News about Brit's new dark 'do.
Hunter has exclusively spoke with E! News again and shared some info on Brit's bright hair, explaining how the singer "wanted to do a little brighter. We're not going blond blond. She wanted a sun-kissed look."
"We brightened it up without taking it back to blond," she adds.
In regards to Britney's current style, Hunter says she "just did highlights over the base…from here now, she can do whatever. She can go darker or lighter," the celebrity colorist explains.
So, why the change, considering Ms. Spears just debuted her hair transformation?
Brit-Brit wanted lighter and brighter locks as "L.A. has begun to warm up and the sun is out more."
