New York City Subway users can thank Sanjaya Malakar for their entertainment.
The season six American Idol contestant was recently spotted sharing his musical gifts with passersby who were waiting to ride the underground transit line at the First Avenue (L) station in the Big Apple.
An eyewitness told InTouch Magazine that the 23-year-old was belting Otis Redding's "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay."
Malakar, who ultimately became more famous for his crazy hairstyles than any sort of vocal talent, placed seventh on Idol.
But, while he didn't exactly find his way to superstardom, at least he's still doing what he loves most—singing.
