Liam Hemsworth Steps Out With Mom in Australia in Wake of Miley Cyrus Split Rumors

23-year-old Hunger Games hunk is snapped at the supermarket with his mom

Maybe a little mother-son time is just what Liam Hemsworth needs.

The sexy actor stepped out with his mom Leonie at a local supermarket in Australia where he's currently spending time away from fiancée Miley Cyrus.

Liam seemed in good spirits during the afternoon outing, looking handsome in a white tank, shades and shorts as he enjoyed the Aussie sunshine and walked alongside his mom. 

Despite numerous tabloid reports insisting Miley and Liam have called it quits, a source tells E! News the on-again-off-again twosome of nearly four years is not ready to let go of their relationship. 

"[Miley and Liam] have been a bit rocky, but are not giving up," the insider tells E! News. "They both want it to work."

In the meantime, the 23-year-old Hunger Games hunk is taking time away from the Hollywood media frenzy, spending quality time with his brother Chris and his mom Down Under. 

As for Miley? 

The 20-year-old pop star has not only insisted she did not call off her wedding, but she also annouced (via Twitter, of course) she will not be discussing anything but her music for the time being.
