There was always a chance that Chuy Bravo could get hurt competing on ABC's Splash, but this injury was unexpected!
On tonight's episode of Chelsea Lately, Chelsea Handler revealed that Chuy broke his foot while off shooting the new celebrity diving reality show, but managed to do so without executing a single dive.
Apparently, Chuy injured himself during a party celebrating the show's premiere, not while trying to pull off a death-defying stunt.
"He fell off a table," explained Chelsea.
"He's so lazy, he doesn't even want to dive," she added. "So that got him out of this job and the diving job."
Luckily, Chelsea picked up a new sidekick to substitute for Chuy during his time away, so he should have plenty of time to rest up (during which we recommend he not get too close to any tables).
