One Direction's Twitter Tattoo Photo Competition Called Off

Directioners, there is no need to race to the tattoo parlor.

One Direction has now removed a Twitter request for fans to submit pics of their own tattoos for a chance to win tickets to the group's upcoming 3-D movie.

"This tweet was posted in error and has now been removed," a 1D rep told the BBC.

Although Niall Horan has no visible body art, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and obviously Harry Styles (hello, giant butterfly on your chest!) have multiple tattoos.

But don't get inked just to be like them: The boys' rep added that "One Direction do not want to encourage any of their fans to get 1D tattoos."

Take it from us: Tattooing a boy band name is never, ever (like ever) a good idea.
