"I don't think anybody is safe."
Such is life when you are an actor on AMC's zombie hit The Walking Dead, which has killed off its fair share of main characters. But is one actor free from harm? Star Laurie Holden exclusively tells us that she has a feeling one character is safe!
We chatted with Holden at Paley fest 2013, where she teased what's ahead for Andrea this season and reveals how she really feels about fans hating her character.
"I hear it all," Holden admits to us of fans' feelings over her character's choices, including sleeping with the Governor (David Morrissey). "At first it was upsetting, you know, because you're hearing people saying they wish you were dead and all that. It's like, 'Whoa, whoa! I feel like I'm being bullied in a schoolyard!'"
However, Holden is a fan of silver linings, saying, "There are also a lot of people who love Andrea and understand Andrea. I feel like with whoever is frustrated, there's my cheerleaders supporting her, so it balances out. And you know what? It's controversy and it's all good. It's why season three is so insane!"
Well said, lady. Well said!
While the series isn't afraid to kill off any of its characters, Holden reveals to us the one character she believes to be safe: "The only person who I think is safe is Carl...and I'm not just saying that because I think he's going to be the John Connor of the next generation of The Walking Dead."
Terminator-esque spinoff anyone?!
The Walking Dead airs Sunday at 10 p.m. on AMC.
