Just as they did at the Golden GlobesTina Fey and Amy Poehler are keeping their wits about them when it comes to Taylor Swift .

Fey admitted to E! News tonight at the Admissions premiere that she's surprised Swift was annoyed at her and Poehler cracking wise about the singer's love life—because she figured if anyone was going to be mad, it would have been James Cameron.

Poehler, in case you had forgotten, joked that she hadn't been following the Zero Dark Thirty controversy, "but when it comes to torture, I trust the woman who spent three years married to James Cameron." (ZDT was, of course, directed by Cameron's ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow.)

Cameron apparently hasn't commented, but Swift talked to Vanity Fair about being the topic of conversation for about a minute at the Globes, when Fey and Poehler alternated between encouraging her to make a play for Michael J. Fox's 23-year-old son and advising the recently single pop star to enjoy some "me time."

Swift told the magazine that she was able to laugh it off, but she also offered the following: "You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people. She said to me she had heard a quote that she loved that said, ‘There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"

"Aw, I feel bad if she was upset," Poehler told the Hollywood Reporter. "I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."

To hear more from Tina Fey, tune in to E! News on Wednesday at 7 p.m. & 11:30 p.m.
