The big ex is finally coming to The Mindy Project!
Hot on the heels of the hit sitcom being renewed for a second season, Chloë Sevigny is set to guest star on The Mindy Project, we've learned.
The actress, who most recently appeared on American Horror Story: Asylum and Portlandia, will take on the role of Danny's (Chris Messina) much talked about ex-wife Christina, you know, the one who left him a mess after a split involving another man.
Sevigny is set to appear in three episodes of Mindy Kaling-led series and will make her debut in the 22nd episode of the season.
Christina will make an unexpected return to Danny's life after receiving the letter Morgan (Ike Barinholtz) mailed to her without telling Danny. She's a passionate and widely-traveled war photographer who is willing to think about finally settling down if Danny will give their relationship a second chance.
Sevigny, who is known for her role as Nicolette on HBO's Big Love, is set to headline the A&E drama pilot Those Who Kill.
The Mindy Project airs Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
