Eric Stonestreet/WhoSay Modern Family costars Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson got a whole lot closer over the weekend!
The threesome were stuck in an elevator Friday while en route to a charity event, but didn't let the potentially frightening situation get them down.
The comedic cast took to Twitter to make light of the situation.
Eric, along with a photo, tweeted: "I honestly handled being stuck in an elevator for 50 min better than I thought. All @jessetyler did was pass wind. That's my mom in blue."
While Jesse tweeted: "Finally made it out of the stuck elevator at the one hour mark. At least the firemen in K.C. are cute" along with a video with Julie exiting via ladder.
The costars, according to the Kansas City Star, were at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center, where they were headliners for the Kids Night Out 2013 fundraiser.
After finally making it to the event an hour late, Jesse continued the humor, joking at the end of the evening: "Have a great night and don't use the elevators!"
