Amidst the bold makeup looks and experimental updos on the 2013 Oscars red carpet, Jennifer Aniston's effortless glow shined brighter than ever.
The star looked radiant, relaxed and simply stunning in her red Valentino gown paired with glossy, straight hair, natural makeup and a beaming smile next to fiancé Justin Theroux throughout the night.
We tapped the star's trusted Chanel makeup artist Angela Levin for the inside scoop on Aniston's red carpet beauty routine.
"Oscars Sunday was relaxed with a lot of laughter and support. Jen was comfortable and excited! She had a red dress so I thought a heavy eye was not right; I wanted everything simplified, fresh, young and classy," she exclusively tells E! News.

The beauty expert explains that the makeup look is always determined by the gown. "White and black [dresses] you can do anything with your makeup, but a colored dress changes everything."
Curious what must-have products she always applies on the star? Levin relies on Chanel Inimitable mascara in black and a new eyelash conditioner by the luxury brand for lush lashes that really pop.
And of course, we had to know the secret to Aniston's radiant complexion. "Glowing skin happens when you have a gorgeous boyfriend who loves you! Water and sleep are crucial, too. I know Jen uses Aveeno Daily Scrub, as well."
