Siobhan Finneran will not be returning for Downton Abbey's upcoming fourth season, a spokesperon for the hit period drama confirms to E! News. Finneran played the villainous maid O'Brien.

"I'm not doing any more," Finneran told HuffPo UK. "O'Brien is a thoroughly despicable human being— that was great to play."

Finneran is just the latest star to leave the hugely popular series: Dan Stevens, who played fan favorite Matthew Crawley, and Jessica Brown Findlay, who played the beloved Lady Sybil, both left the series in season three after their characters were killed off.

"We were always optioned for three years…And when that came up it was a very difficult decision," Stevens explained of his decision to leave the show.

When we asked executive producer Gareth Neame how the show would continue without Stevens, he told us, "This is a lesson in something that seems like a really big loss in the moment [that] will actually turn into a great opportunity [for Lady Mary], which it will also be for the show, to take a turn in a whole different direction."

No word yet on how creator Julian Fellowes will be writing O'Brien out of the series, which is currently filming its fourth season in England.
