A man was pronounced dead and another bystander was injured Thursday night during a drive-by shooting outside rapper French Montana's tour bus in Philadelphia.

Per published reports, a crowd had gathered around the 28-year-old rapper's bus as it pulled into a local hotel after a show when an occupant in a passing car suddenly opened fire on the group.

According to authorities, a 27-year-old man died after being shot in the abdomen, and another man sustained a bullet wound to the shoulder.

Local news outlets are reporting that police are questioning 25 people, including the rapper and his entourage. Three people, meanwhile, were purportedly taken into custody for after police discovered they were carrying guns.

Authorities said they didn't believe Montana or his crew were the intended victims of the shootout, and that neither of the eventual victims was connected to the rapper.

The incident comes just a week after rapper Kenny Clutch was gunned down during a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas.
