David Bowie is back, baby!

The Next Day, the Thin White Duke's first album in a decade, is officially in the wild after it began streaming today for free for a limited time exclusively on iTunes.

News of the disc took fans the world over by surprise when it was announced back on Jan. 8, Bowie's 66th birthday, and accompanied by the release of a new single, the appropriately titled "Where Are We Now?," and a music video.

The Next Day, which contains 14 tracks (a deluxe version features three additional tracks) and has so far garnered praise from critics, is also available to preorder when it officially drops both online and in stores on March 12.

Apple's music store described the singer's latest thusly: "A mix of midtempo tracks ('Where Are We Now?' centers around languid piano shuffling) and fast-beat jams ('Dancing Out in Space' combines dance floor rhythms with ethereal guitar layers), Bowie puts his eclectic tendencies on display."

Another single, "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)," also debuted a few days ago, along with an '80s-inspired video featuring Bowie and actress Tilda Swinton as a middle-age couple whose quiet existence is interrupted when a pair of celebrities move in next door.
