Tough work, making out with a studly young actor on a rooftop overlooking L.A., but someone's got to do it.

Carly Rae Jepsen's video for her new hit single, "Tonight I'm Getting Over You," premiered last week—and E! News has scored an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip revealing what went in to all that making out!

"It's romance, it's not for the faint of heart," Jepsen explains the relationship-gone-wrong theme of the video, which starts out with her and model-actor Brandon Gray in the "fun and flirtatious" early stages of couplehood, then descends to the "turmoil in between."

"I screwed up," Gray admits, smiling sheepishly.

But first, all that kissing!

"There was the couch scene. A lot of kissing," Jepsen recalls. "There's a little kissing going on," Gray agrees.

The pop star's stylist also goes through the variety of looks she created for the shoot, from the romantic slipdress-meets-moto-jacket Jepsen wears to make out on the roof to the men's underwear and torn-up t-shirt she sports in the bedroom.
