Modern Family is showing one of its stars the money.

Ariel Winter has renegotiated her contract with the hit ABC sitcom, scoring $6 million, according to court documents obtained by E! News.

The 15-year-old, who plays Alex Dunphy, is currently under her sister Shanelle Gray's guardianship after her mother Chrisoula Workman was accused of emotionally abusing the actress.

"The minor's professional career was protected from chronic and unwarranted interference by the mother which had prevented the minor's execution of a renegotiated contract for her starring role in the television sitcom, Modern Family, which contract has a value in excess of $6,000,000," a reply memorandum associated with attorney's fees states.

Gray is not being paid as Winter's guardian and informed the judge that she doesn't want access to her sister's funds, asserting her "sole interest has been insuring my sister's well-being, free from my mother's unwarranted interference and unacceptable behaviors towards Ariel."

A hearing is scheduled for March 29 to appoint a permanent guardian for Winter.
