Is Sofia Vergara officially off the market?
That was certainly the impression her Modern Family costar, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, gave during his appearance on Tuesday's The View.
While recalling how he proposed to his boyfriend, Justin Mikita, the actor casually said, "We were actually in Mexico for Sofia's 40th birthday party. She was getting married in Playa del Carmen and we had some extra time before going to the wedding."
Wait, what? Married?!
Nope. As it turns out, Ferguson simply made a Freudian slip.
Sure enough, sources confirmed to E! News that it was indeed just Vergara's 40th birthday party that Ferguson was attending and nothing more.
Of course, he probably just meant to say that Vergara got engaged when her boyfriend, Nick Loeb, popped the question in Mexico while they were sightseeing at the Mayan archaeological ruins of Chichen Itza.
Now the question is, Who will get to the altar first: Ferguson or Vergara?
