"It's going to be fun," Radcliffe told me at the Independent Spirit Awards.
But he admits he's a bit nervous about it all. "Walking on that stage and doing what we're doing, it's nerve-wracking," Radcliffe said.
Meanwhile, Bruce Willis showed me a pic on his iPhone of Mabel, his and wife Emma Heming's adorable 10-month-old baby. "Beautiful," Willis said. "She's very mischievous."
And get this—Hemming doesn't mind diaper duty even if she's wearing a fancy frock like she was today. "She was changing the baby in that dress today," Willis said about her gorgeous black attire. "She was! She was doing it with her arms extended."
Speaking of getting dressed, Nina Dobrev said picking out her white and gold Michael Kors shorts set was easy. "It fit and I had to leave the hotel room in like four minutes," the Perks of Being a Wallflower starlet said.
Dobrev also said that Silver Linings Playbook was one of her favorite movies of the year. "It doesn't matter if [Bradley Cooper] has a disorder, he's just as beautiful—if not more because he's flawed, which is better," she gushed.
First-time Spirit host Andy Samberg gave big props to The Master. "I thought it was hilarious," he said. "Everyone was like it was so dark, but I laughed my ass off the whole time."
Jake Johnson, who was at the show today to support his offbeat comedy feature, Safety Not Guaranteed, was wearing a John Varvatos jacket.
"The wardrobe department from [New Girl] were like, 'What are you wearing to the Spirit Awards?'" he said. "I said, 'I don't know.' So they were like put that on. I wore it on the show once, too."
And it wouldn't be the Independent Spirit Awards if John Waters wasn't there. He raved about I Am Divine, director Jeffrey Schwarz's upcoming documentary about his late drag queen muse, Divine. "I've seen a rough cut," he said. "It's great. It does have a sad ending [Divine died unexpectedly at age 42 in 1988 of an enlarged heart] in real life, but [Schwarz] makes it upbeat."
The doc premieres next month at SXSW. Looking forward to it.
