Les Misérables star Eddie Redmayne is nervous—and for good reason.

He's performing in the Oscars' musical tribute on Sunday!

"I know we did live singing in the movie, but this is different," the handsome Brit told me last night at Vanity Fair and Chrysler's party for Les Mis director Tom Hooper at Eveleigh restaurant on the Sunset Strip. "At least when were filming and if you messed up, you can do it again.

"This is my first time at the Oscars, but it's probably my last," Redmayne cracked.

Don't worry, Eddie—you're going to be great!

Reunited: Redmayne's costars Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried and Sacha Baron Cohen were also there. "Do you know where Tom is?" Hathaway asked soon after arriving with hubby Adam Shulman. "We can't stay long, but I have to see him."

Among the well-wishers were Judy Greer, Adrien Brody, Abigail Spencer and Isla Fisher.

It's an Illusion: Seyfried (in a Dior printed silk serge dress) looked as if she chopped off her hair to her shoulders. However, we're happy to report, she simply had most of her long locks pinned up in the back.

Hunger Games: Hors d'oeuvres featured tuna tartare and roast beef.

Early Night: The party, which benefited the Los Angeles Fund for Public Education, wrapped up before 9 p.m. "I'm a bit jet-lagged," Redmayne said. "I just got in today from London. We start rehearsals tomorrow."
