LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have acquired a new love nest.

An 8,642-square-foot nest, but still!

The couple have purchased a six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home that was available via short sale in celeb-friendly Hidden Hills, Calif., for the bargain price of $3 million.

An insider at Trulia.com tells E! News that Rimes and Cibrian purchased the house in the name of a trust that is connected to the couple's other assets. The home last sold in 2006 for $5.575 million and is currently valued at $4.7 million.

The Spanish-style home sits on a large lot with an outdoor dining area, a pool and a swingset in the backyard, perfect for Cibrian's two young sons. Inside, there's a large kitchen with center island, dining room and a master suite with its own patio.

Sounds as if there's not only plenty of room for entertaining, but plenty of room to add on to their family, should they so desire to do so.
