Mindy Kaling and Amanda Peet: Fashion Twinsies in Saint Laurent Mini Dress

Stars step out in identical mod-inspired shift dresses

Mod-inspired styles are back and better than ever; and actually, quite popular among the celebrity set already! 

We spotted both Mindy Kaling and Amanda Peet wearing the same Saint Laurent mini dress, featuring an adorable illusion square neckline with sheer polka dots for a sweet, retro touch.

The forgiving, boxy silhouette looked great on both gals, but were styled in very different ways. 

The Mindy Project star went bare-legged and accessorized with a Chanel clutch, Neil Lane jewelry and red pointy ankle boots at the Writer's Guild Awards, while Peet kept her look conservative and all covered up with opaque black tights and classic pumps at the Identity Thief premiere in Los Angeles. 

Both stars swept their hair up and away to keep the focus on the adorable details of the playful frock, but Kaling went bold with red lipstick, while Peet was pretty in pink.
