Baby Mama: Straight-shooter Tina Fey can't conceive, so she hires nasty slacker Amy Poehler to cook her fetus. And it works! Sharp satire, packed with girlcentric (for a change) gross-out gags. A-

Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay: Half-baked (get it!) cult sequel, with a Neil Patrick Harris cameo, social commentary and a bag of Jamaican High Grade. Funnier the first time. C+

Deception: Basically Skinemax with high production values. And Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor. And a high-rollin' anonymous sex club, murder and twists you'll totally see coming. C

Deal: This was better when it was called The Color of Money, when it was about pool instead of poker, when it was directed by Martin Scorsese and, oh, when it didn't star Burt Reynolds and suck. D-
