One of the reasons Kate Middleton is the people's princess is that she recycles her high- and lower-end clothing quite frequently.

But according to fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, she doesn't do that enough! While promoting her new collection at London Fashion Week, the 71-year-old Brit had some criticism for the resourceful royal.

"I don't have any advice for her, [although] I think it would be great if she wore the same clothes over and again, because that's very good for the environment and it would send out a very nice message," she said, as excerpted by Us Weekly.

"If you're going to all that trouble to get an outfit that suits you, then you should keep on wearing it," she added. "I mean, you don't have to have a red outfit one day and then something almost the same in blue the next."

Vivienne also criticized Kate's eyeliner back in 2011. "The sharp line around her eyes make her look hard," she said. "Either she should be smudgy or wear none."

Personally, we think Kate's doing just fine in the style and beauty department.
