Oscar week officially began last night when Vanity Fair and Juicy Couture threw a party for the 2013 Vanities calendar at the legendary Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood.

So who was there and what went down? Here's everything you need to know...

Seen: Newsroom star Olivia Munn (she cohosted the party with VF's west cost editor Krista Smith), Eva Longoria, Ali Larter, Paul Haggis, Russell Simmons with Estella Warren, Grace Gummer, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, cute couple Kate Mara and Max Minghella and newcomer Katheryn Winnick.

Décor: Nautical theme with red, white and blue life preservers and white beach balls in the pool. Two bars plus hors d'oeuvres, including cherry tomatoes stuffed with crab meat.

Sounds: Ms. Mix played kitschy classics like Toni Basil's 1982 hit, "Mickey."

Gift bag swag: A black candle and a $100 gift card for Juicy Couture.

Dress for success: Munn is going to VF's Oscar viewing dinner and after-party at the Sunset Tower hotel. "I have my fitting this week," she said. "Things are being flown in. I have two different designers."

There will be no last-minute crash diets. "It's really hard to stay in shape," Munn said. "And also, I want to be happy."
