Final ballots for the 85th Annual Academy Awards are due at 5 p.m. PT today.
With the polls closing, here's one last look at how the oddsmakers have the top races breaking:
Best Picture: The money's all on Ben Affleck's Argo.
Best Actress: The eye-opener here isn't that Silver Lining Playbook's Jennifer Lawrence is the comfortable favorite. And it's not that she's pulled away from Zero Dark Thirty's Jessica Chastain, whose campaign went cold after the Golden Globes. It's that Amour's Emmannuelle Riva is now polling ahead of Chastain on some betting lines.
Best Actor: The eye-opener here isn't that Lincoln's Daniel Day-Lewis is the same as he ever was—the biggest, fattest favorite. It's that two-time Oscar-winner Denzel Washington (Flight) is the biggest, fattest underdog.
Best Supporting Actor: Lincoln's Tommy Lee Jones is losing ground, unless, that is, he's gaining ground. Django Unchained's Christoph Waltz likewise is moving up on some lines, and down on others. In short, this category remains anybody's guess.
Best Supporting Actor: The Best Actor race is a squeaker compared to this one, which is believed to be Anne Hathaway's by a Les Misérables-prison-ship mile.
Best Adapted Screenplay: The odds continue to move in Argo's favor after Chris Terrio's script beat Tony Kushner's Lincoln opus at last weekend's Writers Guild Awards.
Best Original Screenplay: Quentin Tarantino's the favorite for Django Unchained. Oscar telecast censors, you've been put on notice.
Best DIrector: Finally, a category where Lincoln and Steven Spielberg are safely out ahead.
