Everybody had something toxic happening to them this week on Kourtney & Kim Take Miami. For Khloe Kardashian Odom, it was an abundance of caffeine. For Kim Kardashian, it was bad allergies.
And for Kourtney Kardashian and Jonathan Cheban...well, it was just not getting along very well.
But it wasn't anything that some scooters, an intervention, a surprise lunch and some adoption couldn't fix! Only after Khloe hit rock bottom by getting stranded in Miami at five in the morning and somebody got a big slap in the face, though.
WHAT WE LEARNED
Cortaditos...Not Even Once: Khloe and Kim tried some Cuban coffee, also known as a cortadito, on a whim. Khloe was immediately hooked thanks to the higher caffeine content, but there was a problem: she was up all night and constantly in need of her cortadito fix. When she went out on a scooter at 5AM for espresso and lost her keys, she knew she had to kick the habit.
Awful Allergies: Kim was feeling sick the whole time she was in Miami and couldn't figure out why...but a trip to the allergist revealed that she had a bad allergy to cats. Kim was willing to stick it out with Mercy, but Khloe and Kourtney pointed out that Mercy needed someone who could pet her and be around her all the time, so Kim decided to give Mercy to Khloe's assistant Syd, who just lost her cat.
Stay Out of the Sister Fights: Kourtney had been skipping work obligations, which meant that Khloe and Kourtney had to pick up the slack. Jonathan wasn't happy about that or the attitude that Kourtney took about it, so he went off on her: "Without Kim, you'd be nothing!" he shouted. That prompted a full-on slap from Kourtney! Jonathan was fed up and ready to press charges, but a surprise lunch and apology from Kourtney made everything better.
