Oh, Russell Brand, you always keep the interview interesting!
E! News went behind the scenes of BrandX with Russell Brand—the funnyman's talk show on FX—and spoke with the silly Arthur star about marriage, his ideal guest and his Valentine's Day dream girl.
"A lady is the Y chromosome. If they don't have that, what you've got yourself there is a man," the comical star quipped after E!'s Ashlan Gorse asked the actor to reveal what he's looking for in a lady.
"Do you think you'll ever get married again?" Gorse asked after revealing she's getting ready to walk down the aisle.
"Probably," Katy Perry's former hubby confessed. "I suppose so, if I meet the right man or woman," he playfully added, carefully inspecting Ashlan's engagement ring.
Brand and the "Wide Awake" singer divorced last summer after 14-months of marriage, and Perry has since moved on with John Mayer. Although Russell has always been candid about his continued love for Katy, he recently told Howard Stern, "You have to let go of the instinct to protect someone once you divorce them."
Currently, the TV star is seemingly single and focusing on his career, and revealed his dream guest would be "Her Majesty the Queen of England" if he could have anyone on his show.
"Could you pull that off?" Ashlan pressed.
"Sorry, when you said pull that off in my country that's a very rude expression," he wisecracked. (Google it, for those unfamiliar with British slang.)
Which turned the conversation to the topic of Prince Harry, who Russell joked is "probably not even a member of the royal family" but the redheaded royal is his "favorite one."
Somehow, we're not surprised.
