Nick Lachey's wife (and baby mama) shared a page from her journal on her blog Thursday, a sweet letter she wrote to her 5-month-old baby boy, Camden.
"Cam, This Valentine's Day you'll only be 5 months old, but I feel like I've loved you forever," Vanessa wrote. "I have wanted to be your mommy for as long as I can remember. Nothing in this world could ever compare to the way you make me and your daddy feel every day."
"Words can't even begin to express how much more beautiful you make our life together," she continued. "As you grow and take in this world around you, know that you are loved today everyday all because you're you! Sweet precious little you. Happy First Valentine's Day."
The former MTV Total Request Live host started the journal following her wedding, in hopes that their future children would read it one day.
The journal includes details about how their engagement, wedding, first home as a family and "how our love makes us stronger ‘together.'"
Vanessa said she started writing love letters to baby Camden in the journal when she got pregnant, and encouraged fans to start a journal for their children as well.
"I hope whoever you are with and whatever you are doing this Valentine's Day, you can take a moment to write down how you feel and what you're thinking," Vanessa wrote. "A year or 10 years from now, when you read it, you will be so happy you did. Thanks for all the Love you continue to show my family and me! We are very appreciative of you ALL! Happy Valentine's Day!"
Vanessa and Nick tied the knot in July 2011 and welcomed their first child last September.
