Replacing Britney Spears on the X Factor won't be easy.
While her work may not have gotten great reviews, it certainly generated a lot of publicity for the singing competition show.
"I don't know," fellow judge Demi Lovato said at last night's Topshop dinner at Cecconi's in West Hollywood when I asked her to name a possible replacement. "I mean, who can replace Britney, let's be honest."
Very good point.
Spears announced about a month ago she was leaving the show after just one season—and a $15 million paycheck! "I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season," she said in a statement. "I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my Teens, but it's time for me to get back in the studio. Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most."
Also not returning for a third season is L.A. Reid.
Meanwhile, Lovato hobbled into the party on crutches. She's been in a cast since falling at home about 10 days ago when her roommate apparently cleaned the floor with Pledge.
The cast, which Lovato needs to wear for another four weeks, is now decorated with silver studs.
