If you got that very feeling after reading about Italian magazine Chi's decision to publish photos of a pregnant Kate Middleton in a bikini while vacationing with Prince William in Mustique, well, there's a good reason for it.
Nearly 31 years ago to the day, Princess Diana was also snapped in a two-piece while expecting as she enjoyed a holiday in the Bahamas with Prince Charles.
It was Feb. 18, 1982, when both The Star and The Sun followed the royal couple to their island getaway to secretly take pictures of Diana.
When Queen Elizabeth II learned of what the papers had done, she called it "the blackest day in the history of British journalism."
As for the latest baby bump photo scandal, St. James's Palace issued a statement on Tuesday saying it was "disappointed" the pictures of Middleton would be published and called it "a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy."
However, Chi editor Alfonso Signorini insisted that "the photographs...do not harm the image of the protagonists and the reaction of the media seems to me wholly over the top."
He added, "The photographs can hardly be considered an invasion of privacy when the subjects are public figures in a public place, in the open air; specifically on a beach surrounded by other bathers."
The Chi issue featuring Middleton arrives on newsstands in Italy on Wednesday.
