Miranda Kerr's beauty goes beyond the runway.
The Victoria's Secret model has become the face of a children's counseling service after being named the ambassador for a Kids Helpline (both telephone and online) in an effort to raise community awareness about the issues they face.
"I want every child in Australia to know that there is someone who will listen to them, someone who can talk to them, no matter how big or small the issue," Orlando Bloom's wife told reporters in Sydney today.
"We all have challenging days, we all go through moments in our lives where we do need advice," she continued. "I really want to encourage the younger generations to believe in themselves."
Miranda shared that being a mother and having lost a younger cousin to suicide years ago are what influenced her into taking part with the helpline.
"It's important they have someone to turn to for advice that will help them grow and flourish into little human beings," she said. "I have a voice now, and it's important for me, personally, to use that in a positive way."
